The first time I made this recipe, I was ten years old. My mom was recovering from major surgery, and my grandmothers were helping with my four younger sisters and me.

On my own, I went to the library and took out a kids’ cookbook, and this recipe was in it. It turned out to be a family favorite, and my dad, who is 98 years old, still thinks this is one of the most delicious ways to enjoy pork chops.

You need just three ingredients and a crockpot to make this yummy dinner dish.

  1. Six boneless pork chops
  2. One can of cream of mushroom or chicken soup
  3. One can of water or milk

You do this.

Place a row of pork chops (about 3) in the bottom of a slow cooker. Whisk together the soup and a can of milk or water. Pour half the mixture over the pork chops and place another layer of pork chops in the crockpot. Pour the remaining gravy mixture over the chops. Place the lid on the crockpot and cook on low for 4–6 hours. Serve over a pile of cooked noodles, and enjoy!

“Therefore, I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?” (Matthew 6:25, NIV)
