Being able to identify the idols in our lives requires a severe bent in God's direction.

What was wrong with Moses’ sandals? Absolutely nothing! Was it sinful for him to wear them? Not until God told him to take them off. If Moses had disobeyed, he would have been guilty of making his sandals an idol. How then, would God have been able to use him?
