Cake Mix Cookies
In a hurry? Try this quick, easy, and yummy recipe.
Ingredients
15.25-ounce box cake mix (any flavor)
1/2 cup melted butter (or vegetable oil)
2 large eggs
1 cup mix-ins like chocolate chips or M&Ms (optional)
You can skip the mix-ins and frost the cookies. Plain is good, too.
Follow these directions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (176°C).
Line a cookie sheet with a silicone baking mat or parchment paper.
In a large mixer bowl, add the cake mix, melted butter, and eggs and mix until well combined. Stir in your choice of mix-ins.
Bake balls of about 2 tablespoons each and place them onto a prepared baking sheet, about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 9–11 minutes, or until the cookies are set. Allow to cool on the cookie sheet for 2 minutes, then remove to a cooling rack to finish cooling.
Store cookies in an airtight container. Cookies are best for 3–4 days. You can freeze them, too.
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. James 1:17 (NIV)
